National Youth Parliament
The National Youth Parliament is a representative advocacy network of young people, established in 2002 as a project on Adolescent –Youth Reproductive Health and Right by RAID – The Gambia (A local NGO), funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). NYP constitute of seven regional youth parliaments of 30 members and each region who serve as representatives from their respective Districts and Constituencies and 5 elected and 2 nominated at national level making a total of 217 Youth Parliamentarians across the country and a National Administrative Secretariat which is manage by the National Executive Council as the Coordinating Body of NYP.

development.
Mission
To build a better Gambia with effective participation of informed and
capacitized young people contributing to national development through
principle-centered leadership development and advocacy.
