Peace Ambassadors – The Gambia (PAG)

Peace Ambassadors “ The Gambia (PAG) is an international organization focusing on youth and peace. It was born in the Republic of The Gambia on the 17th May, 2001. The organization has functioning chapters in all the Administrative Regions of The Gambia, Two chapters in Senegal i.e. both in the North and South and a chapter in Guinea Bissau.

A society where peace, stability and sustainable development prevail.

MISSION
To work with young people, communities and other development partners in achieving and sustaining peace, stability and development in The Gambia and beyond.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
To cultivate in the minds of young people the spirit of serving oneself and the other, the love for humanity and to strive for their welfare.
To ensure peaceful co-existence of all people and promote justice and equality.
To promote congress of tolerance in the minds of young people aimed at promoting the idea of culture of peace.
