African Network for Information & Action against Drug (RAID-The Gambia)

Raid-the Gambia was established in 1993 and got incorporated in 1996. The agency in the same year have its NGO status. In the same year Raid was funded by UNFPA to conduct three days workshop to draft the interventions areas of RAID.
Vision: To have a vibrant youthful population with positive responsive role in socioeconomic development of the Gambia.
Mission : To create awareness among young people with regard to dangers of drug and alcohol abuse, tobacco use, HIV/AIDs and other social menaces
Drugs and substance abuse prevention and education
Tobacco control activities
Reproductive health, FGM/C, Early marriage and unwanted pregnancy.
