“The UNITY FOUNDATION for ISLAMIC and HUMANITARIAN PURPOSES; is a non-profitable, non-political, and an Islamic charitable organization formed to bridge the gap between poverty and standards of living, the core principles of Islamic teachings and immorality, and, the social functions as humans among us.

VISION STATEMENT
To promote the development of the ideal Gambian Muslim identity – and beyond – through the offerings of financial and non-financial efforts; that allows the community members to achieve personal and spiritual guidance and growth both as individuals and communities, as well as, positively impact the lives of our fellow citizens and humanity at large.

MISSION STATEMENT
To work build a society on faith and virtue and spiritual values hat overcome poverty by a fair distribution of wealth, opportunity and resources.
To develop programs and activities that will alleviate poverty and exploitation.
